Patrick Ray Hegwood, age 65, of Chadbourn, NC, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 in his home. Born May 8, 1958 in Texas City, TX, he was the son of the late Pleasant Ray Hegwood and Clara Ann Murphy Hegwood.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Hoggard of the home; two sons, Peter Ray Hegwood of Sumter, SC and Phillip Andrew Hegwood of Union, SC; two daughters, Alisabeth Irizarry of Detroit, MI and Patricia Runee Hegwood of Orum, NC; and one sister, Donia Price of West Columbia, SC.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
