Mrs. Patricia Diane Stevens Spivey, age70, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC.  Born July 12, 1946 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Ruther Stevens and Esther Duncan Stevens.

She is survived by her husband, Willard Spivey of Whiteville; three daughters, Darlene Cannon of Tabor City, Charlene Langlois of Baltimore, MD, Michelle Tryon of Whiteville; three sons, Donald Spivey of Tabor City, Mickey Reese of Clarendon, Edward Reese of Whiteville; one sister, Jeanette Cartrette of Loris; two half sisters, Ponice Gerald of Tabor City, Tammy Buffkin of Ash; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Suggs, and one brother Ruther Stevens Jr. “Bobby”.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
