Olen “OJ” Causey, Jr., age 87, of Loris, SC, died July 23, 2019 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. Born August 1, 1931 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Olen and Velma Russ Causey.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce Tyler Causey of Loris, SC; four sons: Randy Causey of Charlotte, NC, Paul Causey of Charlotte, NC, Dale Causey of Loris, SC and Wilbur Causey of Loris, SC; one daughter: Carolyn Page of Conway, SC; one step daughter: Angel Strickland of Loris, SC; one brother: Earl Causey of Loris, SC; one sister: Ila Ginelie of Charlottesville, VA; eleven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Mary Porter; one sister: Elna Prince and one brother: Ernest Causey.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Carter Cemetery, Loris, SC.
