Mitchell Dale Grainger

Mitchell Dale Grainger age 70, of Tabor City, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. 

Born November 17, 1955 in Loris, SC he was the son of the late Joseph Linwood Grainger and Juanita Stephens Grainger. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Martha Lynn Jenkins Grainger and one brother, Kim Linwood Grainger. 

He is survived by two step sons, Jeffrey Hopkins (Heather) of Dillion, SC., Jack Hopkins Jr. of Dillion, SC., one step daughter, Angela Lynn Hopkins of Tabor City, one cousin, Glenda Elliott of Nichols, SC., one niece, Kimber Shay Wilson. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
