Mrs. Mildred Lucille Cribb McPherson, age 81, died Sunday, April 15, 2018, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. Born March 8, 1937 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Javie Cribb and Leah McPherson Cribb.
She is survived by her husband: Raeford Melvin McPherson of Chadbourn, NC; one son: Wade Allen (Kelly) McPherson of Chadbourn, NC; one sister: Ester Settlemoir of Indiana; one granddaughter: Pamela Renee McPherson of Chadbourn, NC; two great granddaughters: Jazmine Brooke McPherson, Kailey Marie McPherson; and one great grandson: Parker Allen Suggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Bruce Cribb, Cleon Cribb; two sisters: Marie McPherson, Muriel Norris; and one grandson: Wade Allen McPherson, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC. Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
