Mrs. Mary Ann Hardee age 71 of Emerson Church Rd., Tabor City, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born May 1, 1944 in Marion County, SC, she was the daughter of Donnie Vereen and Magaline Rabon Vereen.

She is survived by two sons: Donnie Thompkins and wife Dinah of Tabor City, Wayne Thompkins and wife Tina of Tabor City; one step daughter: Lynn Floyd and husband Goley of Loris; one brother: Kelly Vereen of Tabor City; one half brother: Leonard Gilliland of Conway, SC; two sisters: Peggy Vereen of Tabor City, Frances Thompkins and husband Eston of Tabor City; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband: Charles Blease Hardee and Roy Lee Thompkins; one sister: Grace Register; and one son: Thomas Vereen.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Mullins, SC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
