Mary Elizabeth (Norris) Parker

Mary Elizabeth Parker, age 84, of Tabor City, NC, died Friday, March 14, 2025 in Woodbury Wellness Center, Hampstead, NC.  Born September 27, 1940 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Golespie Norris and Hettie Strickland Norris.  She was the widow of Vance Parker.

She is survived by three sisters, Martha Norris Davis of Winston Salem, NC, Ruby Norris Smith of Fairmont, NC, and Ruthene Norris Barefoot of Castle Hayne, NC; and one brother, Rudolph Norris of Columbia, SC.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Isaac Norris, Elbert Royce Norris, and Joseph Ruben Norris; and two sisters, Lorene Norris and Bonnie Norris Lanier.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
