Mary Lou Copeland, age 76 of Calabash, NC, died Sunday, August 10, 2025 in Autumn Care of Shallotte, NC. Born May 22, 1949 in Lake County. IL, she was the daughter of the late Luther Tharpe and Lorraine Ann Spivey Tharpe.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Cecil Lee of Calabash, NC, and Timothy Carl Lee of Calabash, NC; one brother, Tommy Tharpe of Conway, SC; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Butch Tharpe; and one sister, Marlene Gaskins.
No services will be held.
