Margie Marlowe Porter age 80, of Loris, SC died Wednesday, June 24, 2026., in Loris Rehab and Rehab Nursing Center, Loris, SC.

Born in Horry County, Loris, SC., she was the daughter of the late Dolphus C. Marlowe and Annie Mae Shelley.

She is survived by her husband, Rupert Jesse Porter

One son, Wayne Hester, and one daughter, Tammy Howard of Little River, SC., one stepdaughter, Abigail Taylor of Venus, FL., one sister, Dora Lee Silver of Pineville, SC.

Preceded in death three brothers, Johnny Marlowe, Charles Marlowe, Joe Marlowe, two sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Russell, Margaret Bosman.

Graveside service will be held Friday 26, 2026 at 11:00AM in Camp Swamp Cemetery, Loris, SC.

Family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
