Mable Cartrette Cribb age 73, of the Beaverdam Community, died Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.
Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Dawson Cartrette and Maude Worley Cartrette.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Wayne Cribb of Whiteville, NC, one son, Joey Dewayne Cribb and wife Morgan of Whiteville, NC, one daughter, Aneshia Cribb Ward and husband Gregory of Lake Waccamaw, NC. Seven grandchildren; Henry Ward, Dawson Cribb, Laityn Cribb, Mason Cribb, Brantley Nealey, Chreston Cribb, Maudlyn Cribb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Cartrette, Robert Cartrette, and one sister, Hazel Tyree.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11:00AM in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
