Luther A. Watts, 86, died Sunday, January 15, 2023, in his home. Born in Horry County, he was a son of Luther M. Watts and Dollie Ann (Fowler) Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lisa Watts of the home; two sons, Rodney Watts of Pennsylvania and Joey Watts (Amber) of Clarendon; three daughters, Anna Watts of Baltimore, MD, Nicole Soles (Chris) of Tabor City, and Angel Anderson (Mike) of California; one stepson, Junior Watts of Whiteville; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mozela “Zell” Soles of Tabor City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Dollie “Nisa” Friel; and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Myrtle Green Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM in the chapel.
