Mrs. Lola Pearl Mishue, age 76, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville, N.C.  Born August 11, 1939 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Barnel Long and Lily Benton Long.

She is survived by one daughter: Evelyn B. Fowler and husband Randy of Clarendon; one son: James Marshall “J. M.” Mishue of Whiteville; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: O.D. Mishue; one son: Oburn Mishue; infant daughter: Doris Faye Mishue; and infant son: Tommy Mishue.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2 PM in the Alton Long Cemetery, Crusoe Island Rd, Whiteville, NC.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
