Linda Gayle Carter age 74, of Loris, SC, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, in her daughter’s home. Born in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Bethel Fipps and Velia Leonard Fipps.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Thomas Carter of the home; one daughter, Ginger Rivera and husband Ramon of Loris, SC; one brother, Harold Fipps of Loris; SC, two sisters, Brenda Brown and husband Les of Florence, SC, Sabrinia Grainger of Loris, SC; five grandchildren and fifteen great greatgrandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie Ray Fipps, Shorty Fipps, and Roger Fipps.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, in Inman Ward Funeral Home from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Princeville Cemetery, Loris, SC.
