Linda Elaine (Buffkin) Jones

Linda Elaine Jones age 77, of Whiteville died Tuesday, January 23,2024 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center Angel House Whiteville, NC.

Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Hewey Buffkin and Estelle Fowler Buffkin.

She is survived by her husband, Monroe Jones of Whiteville, one daughter, Dena Lee Cox (Gary), one brother, Dickie Buffkin of Lake Waccamaw, NC, two sisters, Ann Eckard of Belmont, NC, Sue Wilson of Whiteville, NC, one granddaughter, Kylie McDonald of Bladenboro, NC. Three half-brothers, Dick Buffkin, Joe Buffkin, Bill Buffkin.

Three nieces, April Rosset, Amy Stephens (Mike) Lesa Rivenbark (Rob). One great niece, Kayla Wallen ( Cody) two great nephew, Tyler Rivenbark, DJ Buffkin.  

Two special ladies Linda Simmons and Ila Mae Cartrette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson Brandon McDonald.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1:00pm in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC,

Family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
