Lennon Roland Gore age 82 of Tabor City died Thursday March 27, 2025, in his home.

Born in Columbus County, NC he was the son of the late John Roland Gore and Velma Inez Jordan Gore. Lennon graduated from Tabor City High School class of 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Mary V. Brown Gore, three sons, Joey Gore, Rod Gore (Kelly) Michael Rozier, one daughter Gina Williams (Bunkie), three sisters, Brenda McDonough (Mac), Jordan Gore Lawrence, Angela Gore Grainger.

Stepchildren, Jack Walker (Debbie), Robert Walker (Paula), Valerie Walker, and Jeanette Walker. Five grandchildren, Wesley, Alicia, Jason, Robert, Lynette, nine great grandchildren, Valerie, Caydance, Carlie, Layla, Jason, Cora, C.J. Atlicus, Jack.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter Leia and one brother Allison Gore.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Gore Cemetery located on Miller Rd Tabor City, NC.

Family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.
