Larry Dale Troupe, age 74, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC. Born on April 17, 1950, in New Hanover County, NC, he was the son of the late, Willis Dewey Troupe and Ida Mae Coleman Troupe.

He is survived by one son, Michael Troupe of Lumberton, NC, step-daughter, Jessica Turbeville Robinson (Matthew) of Whiteville, NC, step-son, Wayne McCumbee (Sandy) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, special cousin, Winston Coleman, and special friends, Chris and Tonia Strickland.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Troupe Mills and wife, Rebecca Gore Troupe.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Ellen Massingil and Magan Cartrette of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville, NC, for all of their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Inman Ward Funeral home Chapel. Burial will be private.
