Larry Wayne Canady

Nakina, NC

Larry Wayne Canady also known as "Porcupine" age 69, of Nakina, NC, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in McLeod Loris Seacoast. 

Born, October 20, 1955, in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Norman Lee Canady and Eunice Marlowe Canady.  As a child he attended Guideway Elementary School and Nakina High School.

Larry worked on the farm, and for twenty years doing condo maintenance. His good friend Larry Long was there until the end. 

He is survived by one daughter, Melissa Canady. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Marlowe. 

Services will be held at a later date.
