Lacy Mark Cox

Lacy Mark Cox, age 67, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, September 30, 2024, in the McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.  Born June 25, 1957, in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Lacy Bonson Cox and Betty Elois Graham Cox.

Mark loved the Lord and was a very active Christian.  He was a member of Iron Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Nealey Cox of the home, and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Cox Krause and Teresa Cox Prince; and father in-law and mother in-law, Joe and Clara Nealey.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery, Minos Meares Road, Tabor City, NC.
