Karie Denise Strickland, age 39, of Loris, SC, died Saturday, August 9, 2025 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. 

Born November 15, 1985, she was the daughter of the late Eldon Lee Strickland and Karen Denise Johnson Strickland.

She is survived by two daughters, Kara Denise Fowler of Tabor City, NC and Miracle Brooke Fowler of Tabor City, NC; one heartfelt grandson, Camden Davis of Loris, SC; 2 aunts, Cheryl Trautman of Gulfport, MS and Jamie Johnson of Conway, SC; uncle, Hank Johnson (Wendy) of Conway, SC; and lifelong partner, Monty Suggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tristan Brantlee Fowler; and one brother, Eldon Kenneth Strickland.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
