Judy Lynne (Ard) Simmons

Judy Lynne Simmons, age 61, of the Beaverdam Community, died Thursday, December 14, 2023 in her home.

Born April 25, 1962, in Milton County, FL she was the daughter of late Walter Ralph Ard and Lucy Delois Ryals Ard.

She was the widow of Gregory Simmons.

She is survived by one daughter, Cassandra “Cassie” Renee Simmons (Manny Gomez) of Bolivia, NC; one brother, Mike Ard of Chumuckla, FL; one sister, Katie Morris of Chumuckla, FL; two grandchildren, Adam Simmons, and Justin Simmons; and one niece, Kyrstal Morris.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Ard, and one niece Jessica Morris.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00pm in Beaverdam Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
