Judy Gray (Coleman) Caines

Judy Coleman Caines, 76, of Tabor City, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on July 8, 2023.

Judy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, James C. Caines (Buddy); son, CW5 Rev. David L. Ward and wife Jennifer of Culleoka, TN; nephew, Jonathan Coleman and wife Jane of Tabor City, NC.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, R.C. Coleman, Jr.; mother, Kathryn Coleman; son, Matt Ward; and brother, Dr. David Coleman and his wife Christine.

Judy was born on August 13, 1946.  She graduated from Tabor City High School and went on to receive her cosmetology license.  Judy was the love of her husband’s life and loving mother who enjoyed cooking and decorating.  One of her God-given talents was being a faithful and compassionate caregiver.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Coleman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
