John Bernon “Frog” Prince, age 80, of Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, September 10, 2020 in the Regency Hospital, Florence SC. Born February 6, 1940 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Aaron Edison Prince and Edith Williams Prince.
He is survived by one daughter: Amanda P. McCumbee and husband Kirk of Little River, SC; one brother: Eddie Prince and wife Judy of Tabor City, NC; four grandchildren: Chan Durden and wife Brittany, Chase Durden, Megan McCumbee and Kyle McCumbee; and six great grandchildren: Kailey, McKinley, Jianna, Kaeson, Ashton and Kingston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Dian Prince Barnes
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3 PM in the Tabor City Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic social distancing will be observed and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
