John Pearson McNeill, age 86, of Johns Island, SC, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 in his home.
Born July 10, 1939 in Robeson County, NC, he was the son of the late John Pelham McNeill and Ponnelle Worley McNeill.
He is survived by one son, John Michael McNeill (Cherry) of Johns Island, SC; one brother, Sam McNeill of Awendaw, SC; two grandchildren, Ian Butler and Tiffany McNeill; and one great grandson, Bobby D. Lyons III, two step children, Allen & Christinia Stell both of John’s Island,SC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Buck McNeill; and one son, David Buck McNeill.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Long Cemetery, Seven Creeks Hwy, Tabor City, NC.
