John Albert Buck

John Albert Buck age 78, died Friday, May 5, 2023, in his home. 

Born in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Albert Clayton Buck and Mae Belle Smith Buck.

He served his country in the U.S. Army 

He was the widower of Louvenia Estelle Jenrette Buck. 

He is survived by one son, Ken Buck and wife Beverly of Nakina, NC. One daughter, Tina Buck Clark and husband Shane of Newton, NC. One brother, Robert Buck of Tabor City, NC, One sister, Gloria Mae Gaskin of Ash, NC. 

Five grandchildren, Kayla Buck Norris, Kendra Buck, Carmen Buck, Christian Clark, Joshua Clark, One great-grandchild John Caleb Norris, special friend, Audrey Moore of Nakina, NC. 

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, JC Buck and Hubert Buck, one sister, Erma Martin. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Gore's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Nakina, NC with burial to follow in the Pireway Methodist Church Cemetery, Tabor City, NC. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.  
 

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Buck, Steven Buck, Daniel Buck, Anthony Buck, Rex Buck, and Shane Moore
