Joey Harold Watts, age 49, of Clarendon, NC, died Friday, February 14, 2020 in his home. Born April 25, 1970 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of John Watts and his wife Sharon and Mary “Bonnie” Ruth Strickland Ward and her husband Corbett.
He is survived by his wife: Melissa Kay Jernigan Watts of the home; two sons: Donovan Harold Watts and his wife Kelly of Tabor City, NC and Nathan Cole Watts of Tabor City, NC; two brothers: Jeff Watts and his wife Jessica of Little Mountain, SC and Dwayne Fowler of Tabor City, NC; one sister: Regina Fowler and her husband Drake of Conway, SC; two granddaughters: Lexi Watts and Zoey Watts.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Erskine and Bertha Strickland and paternal grandparents: AC and Pearl Watts
He was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Forest Lawn Baptist Church with burial to follow in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
