Jerry Dale Cartrette

Jerry Dale Cartrette, age 73, of the Mollie Community, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024.  Born July 15, 1950 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late J.D. Cartrette and Sarah Ann Watts (Leo).

He is survived by two daughters, Kristy Cartrette of Columbia, NC, and Heidi Cartrette of Garland, NC; one son, Jerry Shannon “Shan” Cartrette of Mollie, NC; two grandsons, Timothy Smith and Jonathan Smith; four granddaughters, Kaylee McCullen, Addie Hood, Emily Gregory, and Hannah Cartrette; one great granddaughter, Valerie Pantaleon; and one brother, Larry Cartrette and wife Naomi of Clarendon, NC.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.  At any other time, the family will receive friends at his brother’s home, Larry Cartrette, 5889 Lebanon Church Road, Clarendon, NC.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Watts Cemetery.
