Jeanette Buffkin Coleman, born May 11, 1939 in Clarkton, NC passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, June 17, 2021.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Lavelle Coleman, their two daughters: Suzanne Coleman (Tony Kennedy) and Kendra Coleman Shearin (Brad Shearin) and two grandsons: Coleman Lovette and Hunter Shearin. She is also survived by one sister, Kitty Jo Mercer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Maty Buffkin and brother, Maurice Buffkin.
Those that were touched by her knew that her family was her whole world. She loved them with every ounce of her soul. She could brighten up a room with her presence and was one of the most loving people you could ever meet. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring family.
A private family service was held Monday, June 21, 2021 in the Coleman Cemetery.
