James Wallace “T-Man” Scott, age 82, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, June 26, 2023 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born December 28, 1940 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Charlie O’Steen Scott and Stella Watts Scott.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandy Lynn Register of Whiteville, NC, and Delores Anne Strickland and husband Steven of Sumter, SC; two grandsons, Austin Blake Register and wife Savanne of Whiteville, NC, and Justin Guy Register of Whiteville, NC; one great granddaughter, Madalyn Elizabeth Register; one brother, Keith Scott; and one sister, Myrtle Powers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Lee, Joe, and Jerry; and two sisters, Ella Jane Scott and Irene Ward.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow the visitation at 5:30 PM in the Crusoe Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1046 Long Corner Rd., Whiteville, NC 28472.
