James "Ricky" Derrick Harrelson

James Derrick “Ricky” Harrelson, age 78, of Wilmington, NC, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024.  Born on July 10, 1946 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late J.C. Harrelson and Lorena Bennett Harrelson Fowler and the widower of Linda Grainger Harrelson.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Lynn Crist and husband, Jason of Willard, NC, son, Derrick Harrelson and wife, Julia of Willard, NC; nine grandchildren, Haley Moseley, Samantha Crist, Brayden Crist, Bryce Harrelson, Ryleigh Harrelson, James Harrelson, Pyper Harrelson, Reece Harrelson, Dani Harrelson and three great-grandchildren, Ella Moseley, John Moseley, Jr. and William Moseley.  He is also survived by one brother, Duane Harrelson of Statesville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt. Zion Road, Loris, SC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Saturday in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
