James "Jim" Lawerence Lemonds

James “Jim” Lawerence Lemonds, age 70, of Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, March 28, 2024 in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born August 28, 1953 in High Point, NC, he was the son of the late Ica Crockhan Lemonds.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Buffkin Lemonds of the home; four children, Nick Lemonds (Tiffanie) of St. Amant, LA, Holly Strickland of Tabor City, Brooklyn Strickland of Tabor City, and Jerod Strickland of Tabor City; seven grandchildren, Jordyn Strickland, Temberli Phipps, Peylin Phipps, Kiara Strickland, Jenna Lemonds Allman, Harleigh Lemonds, and Gavin Lemonds.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” Lemonds.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
