Jacqueline “Jackie” Wilson Singletary, age 92, of Whiteville, NC, died Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Heritage Home, Florence, SC. Born December 26, 1930 in Valdosta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leon Hanson Hardwick and Maude Bell Anderson Hardwick.
Jackie will long be remembered for her friendship and outgoing personality.
She was a woman of unwavering faith and from an early age was very involved in church.
She is survived by daughter, Sherri Hickman Gore of Florence, SC; her son-in-law,
Ricky Coskrey of Florence; her grandchildren, Jonathan(Lori) Hickman of
Florence; Rachel(Bart) Snyder of Columbia; Leah(Fields) Norwood of Florence;
Blake(Allyson) Coskrey of Rock Hill; and four great grandsons and three great
granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband of 55 years,
William (Bill) Spencer Wilson; daughter, Donna Coskrey; and second husband,
Edward Singletary. The family expresses much appreciation for the compassionate and loving care she
received at Pee Dee Gardens and the Heritage Home over the last several years, and from McLeod Hospice in her final weeks.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 1203 E Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29501.
