Iris Gail Strickland, age 64, of Green Sea, SC, died Saturday, January 23, 2021, in her home. Born February 16, 1956 in Loris, SC, she was the daughter of the late Donnie Whittington and Armatha Fowler Whittington.

She is survived by one son: Donnie Strickland and wife AmberLyn of Green Sea, SC; one brother: Charles Whittington and wife Emelia of Green Sea, SC; sister in law: Hazel Whittington of Green Sea, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Callie Lyn Strickland; four brothers: Donald Whittington, MC Whittington, LaFate Whittington, Waldo Whittington; and two sisters: Linda Phillips and Brenda Whittington.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2 PM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
