Mrs. Ila Pearl Strickland, age 80, died Thursday, September 17, 2015, in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born April 10, 1935 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Lancaster and Beulah Waddell Lancaster.  She was the widow of Ray Tate Norris and William J. Strickland.

She is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Norris Edwards and husband Bobby of Tabor City; and one sister: Lila Earle Duncan of Tabor City.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Bobbie Jo Edwards.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11 AM in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, NC.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM before the service in the cemetery.
