Ila Mae (Ward) Sarvis

Ila Mae Sarvis, 82, widow of Shelton “Bill” Sarvis, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home. She was born March 28, 1939 in Loris, SC, daughter of the late Leslie and Eunice (Strickland) Ward.

She is survived by a son, Phil (Joyce) Sarvis of Whiteville; daughters, Melanie Sarvis Cox and Candace Hardee, both of Green Sea; one sister, Pearline Toney of Colorado; thirteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, Danny Sarvis; two daughters, Susan and Marie Sarvis; one grandson, Brandon Sarvis; and one sister, Geraldine Gablehouse.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Little Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church in Green Sea, directed by Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, SC.
