Green Sea, SC

Grover Phillips, age 78, of Green Sea, SC, died Thursday, September 8, 2022 in his home.  Born June 2, 1944 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late McKinley Phillips and Easter Snow Pridgen Phillips.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Fowler Phillips of the home; one son, Bryant Phillips of Green Sea, SC; one daughter, Amanda Kay Boyd (Timmy) of Loris, SC; one brother, Samuel Phillips of Green Sea, SC; one sister, Bernice Johnson of Mullins, SC; five grandchildren, Hope Phillips, Brandon Boyd, Colton Boyd, Meredith Boyd and Michaela Boyd; and one great grandchild, Braelyn Boyd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tracy Phillips; and one sister, Addie Mae Norris.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Hammond Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
