Gladys Tompkins Norris Wheeler age 82 died Friday in McLeod-Loris Hospital in Loris, SC.
Born in Columbus County she was the daughter of the late Neil Bert Tompkins and Sally Norris Tompkins. She was the widow of Herman Norris and John Wheeler Jr.

She is survived by three daughters, Glenda Holden of Clarendon, NC. Wanda Blackmon, Kathy Griffin both of Tabor City. Three sons: Norman Norris, Cecil Norris, Chris Norris all of Tabor City. One sister: Ruth Norris of Whiteville, NC. , Seventeen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Faye Norris, one grandson Lynn Ray Holden one great grandson John Jace Norris, two brothers and one sister.        

Visitation will be held Sunday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm in the Inman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00pm in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
