George Hubert Soles, Jr., age 79, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in an automobile accident. Born on December 2, 1944, in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late George Hubert Soles, Sr. and Mattie Norris Soles. He served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Dean Duncan Soles of Tabor City, NC, son, Christopher “Chris” George Soles (Nicole) of Tabor City, NC, brother, Jimmy Wayne Soles of Clarendon, NC, two sisters, Betty Johnson and Doris Johnson both of Loris, SC, one grandson, Christopher Blake Soles (Caitlyn) of Tabor City, NC, great-granddaughter, Kenna Del Soles, and stepdaughter, Diona Greseth of Minnesota.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Soles.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Emmanuel Holiness Church with burial following in the Old Soles Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Friday in Emmanuel Holiness Church.
