Obituary

Murrells Inlet, SC

Geneva Davis Hipps, age 94, died Friday, July 17, 2020 in the NHC Healthcare in Garden City, SC.  Born April 26, 1926 in Lumberton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Roger Davis and Beulah Walters Davis and widow of Lloyd Conrad Hipps.  Geneva and Lloyd were the owners of Davis Jewelers in Tabor City for many years.

She is survived by two sons: Warren Eston Hipps (Sylvia) and Lloyd Niles Hipps (Karin) of Murrels Inlet, SC; one daughter: Lenoma Oliver (Michael) of Pawley’s Island, SC; one sister: Ella Lou Lovett of Tabor City, NC; and one grandson: Hunter Banks Hipps.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Eston Davis and Roger Davis; and one sister: Virginia Anderson.

There will be no service.
