Foster Maloy Harper, age 77, of Clarendon, NC, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 in his home.
Born February 18, 1948 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Foster Jinks Harper and Annie Fowler Harper.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a long-time active member of Mission Valley Original Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, William Maloy Harper (Ruthie) of Whiteville, NC and Nicholas Harper of Whiteville, NC; two daughters, Joni H. Van Dyne (Eugene) of Lumberton, NC and Hollie H. Sasser (Jabe) of Nakina, NC; one sister, Judy Harper of Tabor City, NC; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Marie Harper; and two brothers, James Harper and Joseph Harper.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Mission Valley Original Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Fowler Stanley Cemetery, Clarendon, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
