Ellis Franklin “Frank” Norris Sr. age 82, of Loris, SC., died Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in his home. Born in Horry County, SC he was the son of the late Robert Lee Norris an Iva Dean Cox Norris.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Soles Norris of the home, two sons, Ellis Franklin Norris Jr. (Becky) of Raleigh, NC., Forrest L. Norris (Tiffany) of Loris, SC., two daughters, Tina N. Turner of Loris, SC., Jeanny Hardee (Stan) of Hamlet, NC., two sisters, Christine Strickland of Loris, SC., Sandra Kaye Causey of Loris, SC., eight grandchildren, Tommy Turner (Toni), Brooke Parker, (Billy), Nicholas Lee Norris (Kaylan), Kayla Powers (Collon), Jake Thomas Norris, Blane Norris (Ella Grace), Brinley Reece Norris, Tucker Lee Norris, three great-grandchildren, Rylan Powers, Hudson Burnett, Kylan Burnett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Robert “Shorty” Norris and sister, Estalene Rhodes.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 3:00 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Springfield Cemetery, Loris, SC.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:45PM Friday in the chapel.
