Elizabeth Anne (Knakiewicz) Carfolite

Loris, SC

Elizabeth Anne Carfolite, age 87, formerly of Ringwood, NJ, died Thursday, November 21, 2024 in her new home in Loris, SC with loving family by her side.  Born January 27, 1937 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Knakiewicz and Anna Bodeo Knakiewicz.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Carfolite Benzinger of Las Vegas, NV and Trina Reardon and husband Dan of Loris, SC; two sons, Eugene Joseph Carfolite of Loris, SC and Joseph John Carfolite of Loris, SC; two sisters, JoAnn Kisselman of York, PA and Georgette Thomas of Rockville, MD; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Breanna, Matthew, Rebecca, David, Vanessa, Michael, and Marshall; and four great grandchildren, Isabella, Vivianne, Julian and Jeremiah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Warren Carfolite, and one sister, Caroline Zitzow.

A graveside memorial service will be held December 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM .  She will rest next to her husband at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
