Tabor City, NC
Earline Livingston Jordan Fipps, 89, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 in her home. She was born in Loris, a daughter of the late Will and Maggie (Holmes) Livingston, and she was the widow of Mace Jordan and Ralph Fipps.
She loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Iron Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family with a love that was more than love, and sacrificed her entire life for her family. She was a great cook, and her family always enjoyed her cooking, looking forward to it at Christmas and New Years Day every year.
Earline loved to work in her garden, planting, growing, and harvesting, always putting her results on her table for others to enjoy. When her first husband died, she sacrificed so the three children she had at home would survive, grow, and prosper. She remarried Ralph Fipps only after her children were out on their own. She was a mother that you could truly be proud of.
She is survived by one son, Charles Jordan (Kay) of Tabor City; three daughters, Donna J. Simmons (Paul) of Clarendon, Bobbie Jordan of Chapel Hill, and Jamie Nealey (Dewayne) of Tabor City; one brother, Rickey Livingston of Loris; two sisters, Charlie Hardwick and Judy Watts, both of Tabor City; eight grandchildren, Leigh McDonald (Chris), Jeremy Simmons (Crystal), Brandon Simmons (Denise), Ryan Nealey (Taylor), Mason Nealey (Michelle Duncan), Jessica Simmons, and Casey and Kimberly Jones; and great-grandchildren, Logan Garrett, Kameron Simmons, Victoria Best, Everly Patterson, Rezza Ammons, Sarah Dawson, and Analise Stevens.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2023, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A service of Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory of Tabor City.
