Dorothy Mae Sarvis

Ms. Dorothy Sarvis, age 86, died Thursday, August 9, 2018, in Liberty Commons, Whiteville, NC.  Born May 29, 1932 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Sarvis and Lula Jane Fowler Sarvis.

She is survived by four daughters: Helen Gale Guzman of Moncks Corner, SC, Nancy Bullard of Chadbourn, NC, Donna McPherson of Chadbourn, NC, Tina Godwin St. George of Savannah, GA; one sister: Gola Jean Davis of Pasadena, MD; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three granddaughters: Abby Guzman, Kinslee Hiatt, Alivia Hiatt; six brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the George Fowler Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
