Doris Jane (Parham) Hickman

Savannah, GA

Doris Jane Parham Hickman, age 93, of Savannah, GA, formerly of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, April 10, 2023.  Born March 22, 1930 in Cairo, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lester Scott Parham and Ruby Lee Bennett Parham and the widow of William Joseph "Bill" Hickman.

She attended Coker College and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was employed with Prince Motor Company, Waccamaw Bank, and the Department of Agriculture.

She is survived by one daughter Doris Ann Hickman Zaitz and husband Michael of Savannah, GA; one brother, Lester Parham of Chadbourn, NC; and one grandchild, Joseph Zaitz.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Parham.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
