Dewey Royce Gore, age 91, of Tabor City, NC died Sunday, September 19, 2021in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. Born November 19, 1929 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Alva Gore and Annie Laura Caines Gore and the widower of Lucille Mishoe Gore.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by one son: Al Gore and wife Suzanne of Tabor City, NC; one brother: Clifford Gore of Tabor City, NC; one sister: Hilda Faye Johnson and husband Donnie of Loris, SC; two grandchildren: Matthew Gore and Alex Gore.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Leonard Gore.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Tabor City, NC.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Church.
