Mr. David Thelton Godwin, age 67, died Friday, February 12, 2016 in the McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC.  Born November 1, 1948 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Burris Thelton Godwin and Luria Norris Godwin.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla Norris Godwin of Clarendon; one son: Burris Thelton Godwin of Thomasville, NC; one step daughter: Wanda Jean Dye of Clarendon; two step sons: Terry Rogers of Blountville, TN, Jason Rogers of Asheville, NC; one brother: Alton Godwin of Raeford, NC; three sisters: Betty Leiva of Tabor City, NC, Linda Lovette of Tabor City, Annie Vargas of Green Sea, SC; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter: Michelle Godwin; one son: Chris Greenwood; and four brothers: Ricky Godwin, O’Dell Godwin, Ken Godwin, Don Godwin; two step sons: Cary Rogers, and Jerry Rogers Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February, 16, 2016 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, NC.  Burial will follow in the Norris Cemetery, Frank Norris Rd, Tabor City, NC.
