David Earl Fowler, age 76, died Thursday, May 28, 2020 in his home. Born June 10, 1943 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Ben David Fowler and Vera Gurganus Fowler.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a Mason and member of Lebanon Lodge 207. He also was a member of Cape Fear Farm Heritage.
He is survived by his wife Helen Hinson Fowler of the home; one son: David Wayne Fowler of Whiteville, NC; one daughter: Tammy Fowler Moye and husband Rob of Whiteville, NC; one brother: Rocky Fowler of North Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters: Ula Allen of Clarendon, NC and Doris Barnhill of Whiteville, NC; and two grandchildren: Raegan Parker and Rachel Moye.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Yvonne Fowler Benton.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
The funeral service will be livestreamed on Inman Ward Funeral Home's Facebook page.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and the family has requested that all attendees wear a mask.
