Dakota Will Hammonds, age 24, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, August 7, 2023.  Born August 17, 1998 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of Robert Will Hammonds, Sr. (Melanie) of Chadbourn, NC, and Regina Earl Norris of Tabor City, NC. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Carter Will Hammonds of Chadbourn, NC; three brothers, Robert “Teg” Hammonds (Crystal) of Tabor City, NC, Taylor Gray Hammonds (DeAnna) of Tabor City, NC, and Dusty Duncan of Tabor City, NC; one nephew, Devin Hammonds; and one niece, Emory Hammonds.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Tiffany and Nancy Hammonds; and maternal grandparents, Earl Norris and Cecile Bailey.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Columbus Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the gravesite.
