Mr. Charles James Beck, Jr., of Monroe, NC, died May 22, 2019 in Hospice of Union County, Monroe, NC. Born February 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Charles J and Ann Elizabeth Prinn Beck.
He is survived by his wife: Ellenda Soles Beck of the home; two daughters: Carol Ann McWilliams of Alamaba and Beth Martinez of Florida; one son: Charles J Beck III of Indiana; one step daughter: Erica Soles Duncan of South Carolina; one brother: Alan Beck of Florida; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara Phillips and Beverly Sloan.
He was a retired veteran serving in the US Army and US Air Force.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 from 7 to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
