Tabor City, NC   

Casey James Blackwell age 32 died Sunday, November 15, 2015 in an automobile accident in Longs, SC.  Born February 16, 1983 in Columbus County, he was the son of Melisa Strickland Blackwell and the late James Arnold “John” Blackwell. 

He is survived by his wife: Kristina Ray Harrelson Blackwell of Tabor City; one daughter: Johnna Rayann Blackwell; one son: Rush Lane Blackwell; one brother: Dusty M. Blackwell of Tabor City; paternal grandmother: Mary Ruth Blackwell of Tabor City; maternal grandmother: Frances Strickland of Tabor City.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: James Hubert Blackwell; and his maternal grandfather: Johnny Mack Strickland.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
